Why am I paying for fruit drops on a clothing website?
Starting a clothing company is hard and developing new styles is expensive. Plus my work pants last so long there’s not a lot of repeat business. This is good and bad. Fruit, however. You can eat fruit everyday.

What is the produce party?
The produce party is fruit + vegetable drop, but you also get more cassette tapes, zines, and the occasional local dry good (eg sorghum, honey, kombucha, etc). The produce party is highly recommended for food bloggers, you will really get some bloggable stuff in here. Mad exclusives.

Will I get my money’s worth in fruit?
Absolutely. I’m pulling from the same distributorships that feed stores. These stores have overhead like rent and utilities and managers and stuff. My overhead is paying out the bicyclists to deliver it to you, and local bands to make tapes to sweeten your fruitpack and ensparkle your day with sweet jams on the stereo. What and how much you get will depend on market prices and the preferences you set, and will vary week to week, but will always be the right value.

Should I tip my delivery bicyclist?
If you are down to have fruit left on your stoop or sideyard, then obviously no. But if you want a text and confirm call to set a time that day and take delivery in person, a tip for them would be nice, since you may be pulling them off route or putting them in a holding pattern for a bit. Tips are cool, people who deliver food on a bike would probably appreciate that.

What day does fruit drop?
Saturday morning-early afternoon. That’s when most of the local stuff comes in and that’s when the bike messengers can use the work, so it all fits. If I get enough requests we’ll add a weekday day too, but for now it’s just Saturdays. If you want to take your delivery in person, expect to be around your spot sometime between mid-morning and early afternoon.
